Yesterday we finally presented two plaques to Parks & Rec and Accutech for their great help with the Honor and Remember tree planting. Tom Current gave a very touching speech how the three sisters of Marine Cpl. Michael Fulcher attended the ceremony on Oct. 14 and what one sister said “I didn’t think anyone cared.” Then Tom looked around the crowd and said out loud “we cared” as he pointed out to them and then to Chris Higgens from Park and Rec and Shawn Phillips from Accutech. Thanks to all involved who made this possible for these 14 Marines and Soldiers to be forever remembered for their sacrifice.
